Protestant & Orthodox CenterThis pavilion, whose theme was "Jesus Christ, the Light of the World," was sponsored by the Protestant Council of New York. A court honoring Protestant and Orthodox leaders was outside the building, and a 41 foot contemporary stained-glass screen on religious themes stood in the reception area. The various booths in the large hall, manned by different denominations, used vivid audio and visual techniques to stress the Center's theme. The booths displayed a wealth of religious and artistic artifacts. |
