Billy Graham PavilionThe well-known evangelist's religious message was presented in the octagonal pavilion's 400 seat theater. Inside were also several counseling rooms and galleries. In the entrance gallery was a transparent, multi-colored globe, six feet in diameter, which was marked to show the places the minister had carried his worldwide Crusade for Christ. The entire pavilion was enclosed by a garden. Near the building was a 100 foot high tower which was topped by a brilliant sunburst.The 28 minute color movie "Man in the Fifth Dimension", was shown on a 50 foot "wrap-around" screen which provided a feeling of audience participation. The movie gave pictorial dimensions to Billy Graham's Biblical philosophy. There were simultaneous translations of his narration into various languages. |
