It was a place where visitors could dine in international restaurants (German House, Slovak Garden, Swiss Chalet, United Kingdom Pub) served by staffs in native costumes and purchase souvenirs.At the crossroads was a magnificent antique Belgium merry-go-round with a powerful organ that blared out carnival music. Other entertainment ranged from Hawaiian music in a theater-restaurant to the cheerful music the Britsh perfer in their pubs. |
